Selected new names for craters of Mercury

International Astronomical Union (International Astronomical Union, IAU) approved the names of the nine craters Mercury.

The choice of names was associated with the names of famous artists, writers, musicians, which is in accordance with the rules established for the geological structures IAU planet.
