Delta IV rocket put into orbit a satellite for the US military

United Launch Alliance Company successfully conducted the launch of a rocket Delta IV, which brought with it the WGS-9 satellite for military use. 

A start was made from Cape Canaveral, located in Florida.

WGS-9 satellite, created by Boeing, is designed for transmission of signals between the military ships, submarines, aircraft, ground troops, as well as to provide a video conference in the protected mode and receive weather reports.

Access to the new satellite in addition to the United States will be provided for the Armed Forces of Australia, Canada, Denmark, New Zealand and Luxembourg.
