Origin of Astronomy

Astronomy of Egypt and other ancient civilizations.  Everything is repeated in the sky above us: every night and come back a star, moon phases change, the sun finds its way between the stars.  Rather, these laws were first discovered by astronomers, who sat at the primeval fire.  The motion of the moon (or more accurately, the frequency shift of the lunar phases) was used as the basis of the first lunar calendar,


and then opened the movement of the sun through the zodiac, and there was the solar year.  At the same time flourished and "heavenly" Mythology: primitive people worshiped the sun, moon and other celestial body, performed various rituals to appease the gods of heaven and help them to overcome all difficulties.
