NASA shows us how to be the great solar storm in 2012. "This
hole is spinning toward Earth, which is causing solar storms of medium
intensity, as the last recorded in the months August, September and October and
possibly causing large geomagnetic storm in 2012"
A stunning new image of the sun captured by NASA spacecraft called the Solar
Dynamics Observatory (S DO), by acronym in English, show a hole in the solar
corona, a region where the magnetic field opens up and allows solar wind to
escape. This hole is spinning toward Earth, which could produce a geomagnetic
storm.
NASA scientists have long warned of the solar motion that could destroy the
power grid and disrupt communications systems and satellite navigation on
Earth.
Images taken of the Sun on August 20 were performed using an instrument for
magnetic heliocentric views (H MI) with which the probe is equipped ODS public
so the Spanish newspaper ABC.
The magnetic field lines are identified by colors: White show that magnetic
fields are closed, i.e. not let go solar wind and the gold lines open fields,
those who do leak.
These holes are large regions and colder than the surrounding areas, they allow
a steady flow of High plasma density and causes an increase in the
intensity of the effects of solar wind on Earth. When a hole of such faces our planet.
