Rain of meteorites in the State of Maharashtra (India)

Rain of meteorites cause damage to several houses in the State of Maharashtra (India).Several houses were damaged as a result of a meteor shower in the region of Karol.

A team of scientists from the Centre for Astronomy Akash Ganga was launched from Bombay to move into the area, but failed to leave early because they had to wait for confirmation of their tickets. Scientists are expected to remain three days in the area to investigate this incident.

According to the information pack, at least six houses were damaged because of this meteor shower.

Astronomy Centre in India has shown regret for the consequences of this phenomenon, as it considers should be composed of iron meteorites to have caused the damage caused. Adding to the Space Research Organization has the means, as the airport authorities with a radar, and could have detected and warned at least one hour before the impact, being able to take the necessary preventive measures.
