Astronomers have
discovered a super fast double star, which flies out of our galaxy at a speed
of more than 800 kilometers per second.
Hyperspeed stars were
first seen by people in the early 2000s: their speed relative to the center of
the Galaxy reached 500 kilometers per second, and this rate was enough to
"Get rid" of the star attraction of the system and go to a free
intergalactic space.
In 2007, Warren Brown found the star, which is equal to
the speed of 850 kilometers per second relative to the sun, and it's the fastest
in today's day star - main sequence star.
Astronomers believe
that some stars are accelerated to such insane speeds due to gravitational
interaction with the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy.
Therefore, the study of the orbits of stars SuperSpeed allows determining the
properties of these black holes and dark matter.
However, we have shown
that the current star could not disperse the black hole, because the analysis
clearly showed that it did not fly from the center of the galaxy. Then how she
flew, how did and how could accelerate - these questions scientists have yet to
find the answers.
