Astronomers observe a
rare type of X-ray stellar explosion near the center of our Milky Way galaxy,
discovered a previously unknown black hole (BH), the engrossing gas flowing to
it from the nearby sun-like star.
The find was made in
the last month, NASA satellite Swift, who noticed a bright X-ray source is a
few degrees away from the galactic center of the Milky Way.
