The planet Venus will pass in front of the Sun, in a
unique show that will be watched by millions of people from almost all the Earth
(between 22:09:30 hours June 5 and 4:49:35 pm of June 6), with the exception of
some countries like Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay, the Guiana’s and most
of Brazil, as well as Spain, Portugal and some African countries.
It is an event not to be repeated during the life of
anyone on Earth, as the next transit of Venus will occur in 2117.Required to observe a telescope or binoculars at
least, as the shadow of Venus is too small to be observed with the naked eye. This is a serious danger, and to observe the Sun with a telescope can
cause severe eye damage, so it is recommended telescopes equipped with special
filters, spraying or, safer still: follow the internet.
In South America you can see part of the evening
traffic from Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela.
From Central America and North America will also be
visible at sunset, as the letter shown above. Deed Europe, Middle East and
half of Africa and Australia can see it at dawn, while from Alaska, from
Canada, Asia, the Philippines and parts of Australia and Oceania will see all
traffic.
But there is one consolation, traffic will be
broadcast live by several institutions such as the Columbus State
University's Coca-Cola Space Science Center of Georgia, United States, who
will join NASA to display the event everyone safely
