If water leaves from the Planet- will like the Earth to Mars

The two closest to the Earth planet - Mars and Venus - once had vast oceans, extending over many millions of square kilometers. But all the planets with liquid water on the surface is very fragile. Venus could not keep their oceans, and they vanished into space. Recently we learned that Mars lost most of their water, then it turned into a dry and cold desert.

Constantly changing vortex over the south pole of Venus

As a new study shows, a huge cyclone formed over the south pole of Venus, is divided into parts, and then going back into one.

Observation of the planet for the past six years has allowed concluding that the "long-lived" storm is constantly evolving. This fact led to a greater number of issues related to the unusual weather conditions on the planet.

In 2006, when the spacecraft ESA "Venus Express (Venus Express, VEX) came to Venus (this was in April), then over the South Pole was seen resembling a cyclone structure,

Venus, ionosphere swells in its night side like comet

The ESA’s some unique observations of Venus through a period of low solar wind pressure, discovering that the planet's ionosphere swells in its night side, like the tail of a Comet.

The ionosphere is a weekly electrically charged gaseous region far above the main body of the planet's Atmosphere. The form and are partially controlled by the internal magnetic field of the planet.

Have we caught in the act to the Venusians volcanoes?

The awareness of sulfur dioxide in the dense atmosphere of Venus is more than a million times higher than that found on Earth. On our planet, almost all of this pungent and toxic gas comes from volcanic eruptions.

For this reason, it is thought that the detected sulfur dioxide in the upper atmosphere of Venus, well above its cloud cover, must have been recently pumped from lower bounds.

Three planets in a row

Currently seen the planets Mercury, Venus and Saturn in the morning sky before sunrise the third December is the three planets in a row.

Currently performing the three planets Mercury, Venus and Saturn a cosmic dance in the morning sky before sunrise. Thus stood Venus and Saturn very close together on 27th November, but clouds blocked unfortunately, the view of the planet parade.

If it is clear weather on Monday, the 3rd December, it will be possible to see Mercury, Venus and Saturn in a row with Mercury at the bottom, Venus and Saturn in the middle at the top.

Chasing clouds on Venus

Often spotted clouds blue sky of Earth, but Venus is never clear. This planet is permanently surrounded by a solid covering of carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide, about 20 kilometers thick.

This image, taken by the European spacecraft Venus Express on December 8, 2011 when it was at about 30,000 miles from Earth, shows the top of the clouds of Venus in ultraviolet wavelengths.

Scientists have built-up a geological map of Venus

U.S. and Russian planetary scientists developed the first complete geological map of Venus and presented it to the third Moscow Solar System Symposium on Space Research Institute (IKI) RAS.

"The map has helped us to find out what life in the earth, there were two periods of Venus - tectonic and volcanic his descendant. According to our calculations, the" morning star "is quite young - the average age of rocks on the surface is about 500 million years," - said one of the authors cards, Mikhail Ivanov of the Institute of Geochemistry, Vernadsky (Vernadsky).

Analemma Rising Sun with Venus transit

An analemma is shaped curve "8" you get to mark the position of the Sun at the same time every day of the year Earth. In this case, the 17 photographs taken at 02:31 TU between 2 April and 16 September are half the analemma curve. The photos look east, toward the rising sun and the Caspian Sea, from the harbor promenade of Baku in Azerbaijan.

Dates mentioned, covering roughly the period between the equinoxes of 2012 (pictured at right), ie, between March 20 and September 22, match the shots in which the Sun was closer the horizon. The solstice in the northern hemisphere summer, occurred on June 20, corresponds to the upper left of the "8" when the sun was at its maximum declination north.

Venus, Jupiter and Aldebaran in the sky line up in July

The two brightest planets in the solar system, Venus and Jupiter will shine together in the sky at night and the dawn of the first weeks of July , as reported by NASA. To observe this spectacle experts have pointed out that one need only look to the east. On Wednesday, Venus became visible for the first time, going through the exact center of a large group of stars that is located 153 light years from the Earth (the cluster of the Hyades). Thus, in the coming days, if you use binoculars, you can see by the planet dozens of stars scattered in the sky.

Introduction the secret of Venus

It is recognized as the morning star or morning star, but not a star is a planet. Venus is with Mars, our nearest neighbor, and at the same time, a great unknown. We lift the covering that hides the mysteries of the planet burning.

Reports for Venus transit 2012

2012 Venus Report from Caracas, Venezuela, had totally clear skies during the event. I watched in the company of my family and from my house, where we could see the sun all afternoon until sunset on the horizon itself. The group indicated we could observe with a telescope reflector 8 " with white light filter. Also use the classic lenses eclipse of 1998 that gave Venezuela all the total eclipse of February of that year. Of which had 4 that had not been used, and the glass solder # 12 and # 13 for the observations without telescope.

Sunrise at Uranus and Venus

Sky watchers will have an asymmetrical opportunity to spot the planet Uranus, because it will be located very close to the brilliant planet Venus in the sunrise sky.
You can easily spot Venus as the brightest article in the sky just before sunrise, but it will be better to be up a little earlier just as Venus clears the eastern horizon, so that the sky will be as dark as possible. This will help you to spot tiny Uranus, just within range of the naked eye under perfect conditions, but most of the time requiring binoculars or a small telescope to spot.

NASA arranged to watch the transit of Venus until 2117

NASA and other EU institutions are arranged to watch the transit of Venus between 5 and 6 June, with dozens of activities to capture the best images from this moment not ensue again until 2117. The transit occurs when Venus passes directly between Earth and the Sun, which will see the planet as a tiny dot gliding slowly across the sun king, a phenomenon that was seen by astronomers as Galileo Galilei. Scientists from the sixteenth and seventeenth observed transits of Mercury and Venus, the two planets "inside", to measure the distance from Earth to the Sun in an effort to estimate the size of our solar system.

Venus

The second planet Venus in our solar system is the closest to Earth in accumulation and dimension, is nearly round, no substantial destruction. It is the brightest star in the sky after the Sun and the Moon. It is visible after sunset or before departure at no great distance from it, why is only visible during the first hours after sunrise and evening star, or during the last hours before the sunrise as morning star.
The outside of Venus is a real hell, enclosed by a thick fatal cloud cover; temperature is 500 ยบ C, organism responsible greenhouse. This defines it as the planet with the highest temperature of the solar system and also the most volcanic.

The planet Venus will pass in front of the Sun

The planet Venus will pass in front of the Sun, in a unique show that will be watched by millions of people from almost all the Earth (between 22:09:30 hours June 5 and 4:49:35 pm of June 6), with the exception of some countries like Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay, the Guiana’s and most of Brazil, as well as Spain, Portugal and some African countries.
It is an event not to be repeated during the life of anyone on Earth, as the next transit of Venus will occur in 2117.Required to observe a telescope or binoculars at least, as the shadow of Venus is too small to be observed with the naked eye. This is a serious danger, and to observe the Sun with a telescope can cause severe eye damage, so it is recommended telescopes equipped with special filters, spraying or, safer still: follow the internet.
