Most excellent photo of the Sun from NASA

Astronomers from the Solar Dynamics Observatory (NASA) for the first time took a photo of our central achiever in high definition.

We have not had time to approve of the photographs of the Sun made by Solar Dynamics Observatory, but this time the picture was in use in a high resolution, which officials said NASA, that smooth the most modern TV Ultra-HD TV cannot show it at full resolution.

Spacecraft "Solar Dynamics Observatory" (Solar Dynamics Observatory / SDO), launched by the American space agency, in February 2010, is "guilty" of the most stunning images of solar flares.

SDO spacecraft must have worked in orbit for about 5 years, the program "Living with a Star." On board SDO is 3 large tools that can get 12 different types of images of the Sun. One picture SDO has 4,096 by 4,096 pixels, which allows scientists to observe the Sun's surface details with angular size of 0.6 seconds. The device transmits the images to Earth every 12 seconds, which is about 3 terabytes of data per day, or one petabyte per year.

SDO is the purpose of understanding the impact of the Sun on the Earth and near-Earth space by studying the solar atmosphere on small weighing machine of space and time and in many wavelengths simultaneously.

NASA legislative body proudly declared that "the resolution of SDO is at least two times higher than the new ultra-modern TV Ultra-HD TV".

New photo captures the size of the Sun 322 kilometers, while the diameter of the sun is 1.3 million kilometers.
