On December 31, the
Gregorian calendar did something frightening. He spent the years 2011 to 2012.
What we experience as the year came to an end? Earthquakes? Globally? A
planetary collision? Stranger gravitational effects caused by an alignment with
the galactic plane? Is the impact of a comet? 'Lighting' Earth?
As much as I wish it
were true finally, it is likely that the New Year celebrations only involve a
lot of alcohol and fireworks. It is the beginning of a new year for our
calendar. Nothing more, nothing less.
