A trail in the sky of the Milky Way

On top of plain night we can see a colorless group cross-ways the sky from side to side, with many stars. This is only a small part of our neighbors. Mutually we structure the Milky Way. The Romans called "Milk Road" which means it is Milky Way in Latin.

The nearest galaxies to the Milky Way are easily seen with an amateur telescope.  Like Andromeda and the Magellan Clouds can be seen with the naked eye. Approximately the Milky Way dwarf galaxies orbiting some. In 1994 the discovery of the SagDEG (Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy) to 88,000 lights years away, and in 2003 the Canes Major galaxy at 25,000 light years. Every galaxy has a black hole

Every galaxy has black holes at their center. While the black hole is active, traps and swallows all matter around it, like a whirlpool. When he is not able to swallow again, the matter continues to revolve around him, but not within. The galaxies whose black hole is still active called active galaxies.

Active galaxies are famous by their shape and the large whole of radiation they emanate. The black hole core is surrounded by a bright disc of matter, dust and hot gas. It is called the accretion disk, and spirals while emitting high energy radiation.
