The company SpaceX
announced on February 27 that it will take two private individuals on a trip
around the Moon in late 2018. Those two people have made a major payment for a lunar
mission. As the Apollo astronauts did, these tourists will travel to space
carrying the hopes and dreams of all humanity, driven by the human spirit of
exploration, SpaceX said in a statement.

The dwarf planet Makemake has a moon
A team of astronomers
has discovered a faint moon orbiting the dwarf planet Makemake; one of the five
dwarf planets in the Solar System. The object, which takes its name from the
Rapanui god of creation, Make-Make, it was discovered in 2005 and is a frozen
1,400 kilometers in diameter that orbits the Sun at a distance greater than
Pluto's body.

Moon Has Close Encounters with Planets, Star This Month: How to See It
If you only glance at
the sky now and then, you may think it's pretty much the same every night.
Regular sky watchers know better, and are aware of the constant changes the sky
undergoes.
Take the moon, for
example. Although most people know that the moon revolves around the Earth,
they may never have noticed this movement with their own eyes. This week we get
a chance to do exactly that.

Moon Illusion
Presented another
answer to the age old question of why the moon comes into view larger close to
the horizon than at the pinnacle.
Joseph Antonides and
Toshiro Kubota from Susquehanna University (USA) re-opened the debate around
the famous optical illusion. According to their theory, the illusion is due to inconsistency
between the estimates of distances, which allow the brain is subjective picture
of the world and according to binocular vision.

NASA has found the use of the Moon: the ship graveyard
Permanent satellite of
our planet - the moon has a significant impact on the process in the world.
Effect of its gravity resolves the level of magnetic field strength, the ebb
and flow in different parts of the world ocean. In addition, it is no secret
that a certain phase of the moon can affect the health of people. However, it
seems, will soon receive a satellite, another function,

The Moon is moving back from Earth nearly 4 centimeters per year
The distance of the
Moon and the Earth's revolving slowdown is reason by the gravitational pull of
the two stars from the formation of the system.
The Moon and the Sun appear
eternal. And while this is true for permanence small sample of time is human
life on galactic time, is only apparent, because the Moon will end when we
emerge from the star, the Sun, end their lives.

Whether to build a base on the moon
The researchers
presented their plans to build vneplanetnoy laboratory to determine whether it
is probable to build a base for people on the moon or Mars.
The scientists from the
Open University developed the conception of the tool Lunar Volatile Resources
Analysis Package (L-VRAP), which will determine whether the amount of water on
the moon and fuel, enough to be useful to build on it in the future scientific
bases. The researchers also say that the project can be used to study the
prospects of building bases on Mars.

Moon was once part of the Earth!
Scientists have make
available new indication that the moon was once part of our planet, but
billions of years ago, "broke away" from it in a collision with
another celestial body.
Now that planetary
scientists to understand where there is water on the natural satellite of our
planet, all the scholarly attention has focused on the more fundamental
question: how, after all, come from the moon itself? And how is it that she
seemed bound rotated in space in tune with the Earth?

Russia to land on the moon in 2015
Mission to the moon,
Russia proposes to send to 2015.
"2015 marked the
first in the plans as the year when we need to sit down on the moon," -
said General Director of Lavochkin Victor Hart. However, on Earth's satellite
will be sent an automatic machine. The mission, according to Hartova designed
to prove the "first of all, to ourselves, that we can get on other
celestial bodies."

Songs of the Big Bang
It is known that the
universe after the Big Bang has undergone swift increase, during which its
volume increased to a staggering 80-degree! Universe and then continued its extension,
but the recent increase in size was accelerated, resulting in a region of the
universal signal extended outside.

Scientists are developing a platform for landing on the Moon and Mars
Using the lessons
learned from the mission "Apollo" and robotic missions sent to Mars,
NASA scientists and engineers study the problems and dangers associated with
landing on other planets.
The new technology is
called "vertical takeoff - a vertical landing." According to the
group, operating within the design and technology of NASA's Kennedy Space
Center, Florida, the best approach to planning involves landing on a
predetermined spot landing area.

The influence of the Moon
Moon plays a very
important role in astrology. It influences our emotions; everything about the
Moon is in the field of affect.
You should know that
the signs of the moon are calculated on a monthly basis and not year round.
Signs are divided into three stages. Each astrological sign has an influence on
our emotions. Thanks to the cycles of the moon you can improve your knowledge of
your personality; you will have access to the unconscious part of your
personality. It will also be easier to determine what is the best time to make
a decision, act or engage in new activities?

Kemble's Cascade
Kemble's Cascade is an
asterism containing about 20 stars, of magnitudes between 5 and 10, and associated,
extending a distance of more than five times the full moon. At the end of the
cascade, as if it were a stellar lake, we can find the open cluster NGC 1502.
An asterism is a
recognized set of stars that appear to form a figure but not one of the 88
official constellations. For example, one of the most famous asterisms is The
Chariot located in the constellation Ursa Major. For Kemble's Cascade, this is
located in the constellation of the Giraffe and is easily visible with
binoculars.

Hill, one of the most famous craters of the moon can be 5 to 10% water ice
The new approximation
of the amount of water ice led to radar Mini-RF, on board the American
"moon" of the probe LRO. The focus, as in many similar studies,
focused on the Moon's south pole, where the deep crater Shackleton . These
places are the most promising for the construction of this permanent manned
base on the edge of the crater found a lovely flat landing area, and located
very near to the "peak of eternal light", where the sun shines
constantly, it would be convenient to install solar panels.

You know what astronauts were on the Apollo 10, 42 years ago?
On a day like today but 42 years ago, NASA launched the mission to the Moon Apollo 10 manned spacecraft manned by U.S. astronauts Thomas P. Stafford, John W. Young and Eugene A. Cernan in what would be the mission prior to the first descent of humans on the lunar surface. In an eight-day mission, astronauts traveled to the moon and inserted into orbit. Its main purpose was to test the lunar module operation in a similar exercise of descent to only 10 km altitude of the lunar surface without reaching land. Would also take hundreds of photographs of the candidate sites to land on the moon the following ships.

Missions to the Moon from South America
South America became,
in World War II, in a field of technological experimentation by the Nazis, with
colonies in Argentina, Chile or Brazil, where they developed incredibly
advanced secret weapons that could have changed the course of the war and
history.
Such technologies
include engines able to overcome gravity applied to a circular craft, power
unknown allies with the goal of going to the moon and nuclear research pointing
to an imminent development of an atomic bomb to the end of the war In 1945,
frustrated.
This is the thesis of
Philip Botaya Spanish author, who just completed his tetralogy about Nazi
secret technology to the book "Kolonie Waldner 555" (Nowtilus), which
outlines the role of these German settlements in South America, protected by
local authorities and some of which survived the war.

The New Moon occurs on June 19
Allan Sandage was born
on June 18, 1926 the first astronomers to recognize the optic complement of a
four star. These objects and Habana been discovered, but I know it as powerful
transmitters ³. Visually, he looked a tiny point of light and so was described
as quasi-stellar objects, the name was reduced to rhino scuba Sara.
On Tuesday June 19 at
10:02 AM, the Moon is New. It every 6 months-about-it is possible to see, the
profile of the new moon somewhere on Earth. Those lucky enough to see this rare
phenomenon they call eclipse Solar. The New Moon occurs on June 19 at 15:02
hours Universal Time. You should not go unnoticed! Mia Wednesday June 20 at 6:09

Evidence points to existence moon of Saturn ring
The second largest moon
of Saturn, Rhea, could have a small ring around him, reported Thursday a team
of international researchers. This was the first time you find rings in a
satellite instead of a planet. The findings of the Cassini spacecraft,
published in the journal Science, will help scientists better understand how
planets form, said Geraint Jones, who worked on the study while at the Max
Planck Institute in Germany.

Several flights near the surface of Saturn's moon
The Cassini spacecraft has recorded jets of water
ice on several flights near the surface of Saturn's moon, Enceladus, which may
indicate a favorable habitat for the existence of life.
These geysers, which arise through cracks in the icy surface of Saturn's sixth
moon, could reveal the existence of a vast underground sea.
"Cassini has flown several times through these particles and analyzed. We
found that apart from water and organic material, there is salt in the particles
of ice. Salinity is the same as that existing in the oceans of the Earth"
Porco said.
